Türkiye and the United States decided to take a joint action on freezing the assets of two individuals who have been identified to finance terrorist organizations as a result of the efforts conducted in cooperation with the United States.

A similar joint action on freezing the assets of a DEASH related network was also taken on 5 January 2023.

Türkiye will continue to take effective steps on countering terrorism-financing, and cooperate with its international partners on the issue.
