We are saddened to learn that 16 people lost their lives and scores were injured as a result of explosions caused by gas leakage in the city of Karachi in Pakistan today (18 December).

We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives in the explosions and a speedy recovery to the injured, and we convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Pakistan.
