The U.S. Department of the Treasury made a statement today regarding its preparations to enact sanctions against Turkey in connection with the Operation Peace Spring.

The U.S. Administration has been informed at all levels at the start of Operation Peace Spring. The target and scope of the operation have been shared with the international community in full clarity with the statement made by our Ministry today. Turkey has been fighting against terrorist groups which pose a serious threat to its national security and this fight will be resolutely pursued.

There shall be no doubt that, any step that will be taken in opposition to this, will be met with a multi-folded response in the context of full reciprocity.
