We learned with great sorrow that a suicide attack perpetrated on 13 February 2017 during a demonstration in front of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab in Lahore resulted in loss of life of many, including civilians and security officials, while many others were injured.

We strongly condemn this terrorist attack and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the Government and brotherly people of Pakistan. We reaffirm that Turkey will continue to be in solidarity with brotherly Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
