We condemn two consecutive ballistic missile launches by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 15 October and 20 October 2016. We call on the DPRK to cease ballistic missile launches and its activities related to weapons of mass destruction as well as to comply with its international obligations under relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

These launces, which openly violate DPRK’s international obligations, threaten regional and international peace, stability and security.
